See that mountain, see that small outcropping on the right at the top? Well if this was a close-up you would see what looks like a profile of an Indian Chief, it's really kind of neat. This picture was taken on one of my trips up the Alaska highway and is actually in British Columbia (on the way to the Yukon).

And I'd like to dispel some outdated information about the Alaska Highway. Almost all of the Alaska Highway is paved now, all the way to Alaska. It's a kind of "chip-seal" used to form the paved road, as shown in this photograph.
