Hey, I worked for NWTEL for a while too, up at Stores in Whitehorse, then Iqaluit and Yellowknife. Nice to see photos, get homesick now and then, but I don't miss winter. Much. I do miss living in shacks with lots of the great outdoors around. Sigh.

Great photos, really got me salivating to see the north. I'll be in Dawson soon, and if I see even one of the sights you've photographed it'll make the whole trip worth it.

Very nice site, great photos and information. I love the cold water survival information. I am a great fan of the Yukon Territory... and have visited often. I also greatly appreciate the true, kind and supportive words you wrote about dog mushings. Being one myself, I enjoy and appreciate seeing the truth in print. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful site. jan

I loved looking at these photos because it brought back some lovely memories.I nursed in Dawson City in 1969 for about 1 year and really loved the difference in the climate that I was use to and the climate in Dawson City.

I came across your site helping my daughter doing a school project about Yukon. I am glad I visited your site even though I haven't seen the whole thing yet I find it very nicely designed, useful and informative. I have to say we learned a lot about the Territory and enjoyed butifull pictures on your site. Keep up the great work.

I drove the highway 5 years ago and I was feeling nostalgic to see it again. People I talk to about my experience always ask why I didn't just fly to Alaska, I will show them your site, maybe then they will "get it". Thanks for sharing your photos.
